At eXpress badging®, we want to assure the safety and security of your business and campus through the issuance of Veonics® Virtual ID cards. When your organization’s workforce, students, and associates operate from their remote office or home, virtual badging is a critical first step in quickly providing a photo ID credential.

Virtual ID mobile iconWith virtual cards managed by our Veonics Portal cloud-based badging system, you won’t have to worry about recipients waiting for their printed photo ID badge. While the printed badge is being produced and shipped, our Veonics vID makes the perfect interim ID card.

Our Veonics Virtual ID card can replace the printed plastic card that you store in your wallet. How’s that for an environmental impact! Upon saving our vID Secured icon to the recipients’ mobile device, they can quickly display their Veonics vID verifying they’re in good standing or not!

What You Should Know About Virtual ID Cards

A Veonics Virtual ID card is the hosted cloned version of the printed ID badge. It is not a mobile credential, which refers to tokenized RFID or Bluetooth technology stored and transmitted by a mobile device to access doors, time clocks, and other reader-based transaction systems.

Located in the Veonics Portal, all virtual ID badges display current status upon review. Key status indicators include active, inactive, lost, stolen, and reissued. All records, including activation information, audit trail data, and other account data, can be found in your Veonics Portal account.

Secured Virtual ID Card Process:

Step 1: Select your desired ID design template.

Step 2: Email your logo and backside text to eXpress badging.

Step 3: Approve ID badge design proof.

Step 4: Enter badge data into your eXpress badging badge account.

Step 5: Upload/capture your photos, then approve the photo and record.

  • Use our Veonics CELLfie™ to capture remote photos and required data.

Step 6: Email the secure and tokenized virtual ID to the ID card recipient.

  • The Veonics Virtual ID can be enabled requiring authorized access before being viewed

Step 7: Your virtual ID card is ready to be published and viewed by all!
